Ottobock Discovery wheelbase is a stable and adaptive an ideal choice for moulded seating systems or Spex seating.
Even with a high weight-bearing load, you can easily manoeuvre the Ottobock Discovery Wheelbase due to the rotation point of the seat tilt being placed close to the front of the base.
For this reason, the seating system can be easily tilted using the gas compression springs.
The Wheelbase has been proven to be open to different seating systems: the entire back can be adjusted to the seating shells, and the angle of the backrest can be changed. Various interface adapters and footrest designs round off this flexible concept.
